If you're noticing people tweeting more than that, it's more to do with their desire to share bits from the game (and, granted, the ease with which the game allows them to share stuff) than the bonuses on offer. Of course, attaching a useful message to that tweet as well as the link is probably desired - just spamming 4sq tweets is a way to get yourself removed from my follow list.
